The Center for Child Protection (CCP) 510-428-3742
The CCP at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland offers medical and mental health services to children and adolescents impacted by abuse and/or exposed to violence, including forensic medical evaluations for possible child abuse or neglect of children from birth to 18 years of age.


Highland Sexual Assault Center (HSAC) 510-534-9290 
HSAC provides crisis intervention, advocacy, accompaniment, information and referral and follow-up counseling to victims of sexual assault ages 14 and older in Alameda County.


Alameda County Family Justice Center (ACFJC) 510-267-8800
This one-stop center for families experiencing domestic violence offers crisis intervention, survivor support, and victim advocacy, legal assistance services, employment assistance, and information and referral to other community services.


Family Violence Law Center (FVLC) 1-800-947-8301
FVLC provides support and advocacy for survivors of domestic violence in Alameda County.

Children's Advocacy Centers of California website 

Children’s Advocacy Centers of California is a statewide membership organization dedicated to helping local communities respond to allegations of child abuse in ways that are effective and efficient, and that put the needs of child victims first.  CACC provides support, advocacy, training, technical assistance and leadership to local child advocacy centers and multidisciplinary teams throughout California responding to reports of child abuse and neglect.  CACC is an accredited chapter of the National Children’s Alliance, and is run as program of CALICO, the accredited children’s advocacy center for Alameda County.

Fight Child Abuse website

The nonprofit Barbara Sinatra Children’s Center Foundation in conjunction with Wonder Media has developed a national campaign on a child abuse awareness and prevention. The program’s main goal is to educate children about what to do when confronted with abusive behavior, safe and unsafe touches, going to a parent or another trusted adult if they are confronted in an unsafe situation, and that it is not their fault.

National Child Abuse Hotline 1-800-422-4453
The hotline is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with professional crisis counselors who, through interpreters, can provide assistance in 170 languages. They offer crisis intervention, information, literature, and referrals to thousands of emergency, social service, and support resources.

RAINN (Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network)  website or 1-800-656-HOPE (4673)
RAINN operates the National Sexual Assault Hotline in partnership with more than 1,100 local rape crisis centers across the country.  RAINN also carries out programs to prevent sexual violence, help victims and ensure that offenders are brought to justice.
