11th Annual One Child at a Time Benefit: Picnic in the Park
It’s that time of year again for CALICO’s Annual One Child at a Time Benefit: Picnic in the Park!
The One Child at a Time Picnic is the perfect chance for family and friends to spend a lovely afternoon together while helping young victims of abuse. On Saturday, September 19th, CALICO is pleased to return to Preservation Park for a fourth year, and has taken your feedback into consideration to make this year’s event even better than before. First, we are delighted to offer more shade! We have moved the tables and entertainment so everyone can grab a shaded seat to stay cool and comfortable as you enjoy delicious food and festivities.
We are also offering more games and entertainment, all for the price of admission. Picnic-goers can relax and enjoy live music from award-winning singer Debbie Ilana or join in the acrobatic fun from Circus of Smiles. Children can spend the afternoon playing fun carnival games, getting temporary tattoos and having their faces painted. And don’t forget to stop by our new photo booth so you can take the memories home with you!
And we’ve kept all the features you’ve loved from years’ past. Our picnic will feature delicious meat and veggie sliders, tasty tacos, cupcakes from Teacake Bake Shop, and beer, wine and sangria for the adults.
Plus, as always, we’ve assembled another raffle with epic prizes! You might leave with an Apple watch, passes to the Exploratorium, Fairyland and the San Francisco Zoo, or a tour of Google and Twitter.
